To add a new property go to: → Contribute → New property

You may choose to:

Start from scratch - Enter data on a blank canvas
Clone an existing property - Use a similar property as a template

Name: This should be represented as the official, proper name of the property.
Category: Select one category that best describes the property type.
Operation state: Reflects the physical state of a property.

Location

Coordinates: Use search to add coordinates by property name.

Tip

If the property cannot be found, search for the closest neighboring property
Reposition the map to adjust the coordinates

Located Within: Identify the single closest property that a property is located within.

Classifications

Systematic tags used to breakdown property types according to specific criteria, simplifying identification. There are various classifications per property type.

Tip

Some classifications allow multiple values while others are single select
Select only the classifications that apply to the property

Specs

Specs are quantitative assessments of a specific property, typically expressed in numerical values and units.

Themeing & Lore

Property details presented as a fictional theme, incorporating elements of the backstory or lore.

Theme: Choose the theme(s) that best fit the property

Tip

Keep criteria for theme selection simple and straightforward
Leave it blank if there are no applicable themes

Lore: Add any noteable property lore
Bio: Applicable for character properties, details can be factual or made up - they’re just for fun
Colors: The main colors used in each part of a Roller Coaster property type

Focus on the overall color scheme rather than all individual colors

Creative Development

Summary: The summary is a collection of anecdotes about a property

Tip

Write in complete sentences
Cite any sources, as needed

Creative team: Key members of the creative team can be credited for their contributions in creating a property.

Timeline

Add relevant and notable points to a properties timeline. Points vary in nature and should match the context being presented.
